Dave,

True enough, the focus should, in fact, be on the BANY
growth story not the games going on in the trading of
this stock ...
However, you must also remember that this thread is an alliance
of short, mid, long term investors...some of us aren't even
sure which category we are in anymore (longs excluded, obviously)

Learning the tactics of the MM's or (how OTC trading really works)
is an invaluable education. I've learned more in 6 months on SI
than I did in 4 years of so called "higher education"...

We do all have one common goal: the appreciation of the value
of BANY stock....

We should work towards that end by whatever means available...
dicusssion of shares left in the float, outstanding, cert'ed ...
And possible heavy shorting...won't hurt the reality of BANY...
and if the attention it draws, attracted a couple dozen
more investors in BANY ... that's not too bad either....

Dave,

Big development today was the recognition from the subcontractor that BANY cases have been chosen for the rest of the contract. I don't think Banyan could have said this last week.

I've got a guy who is trying to get numbers put together on the meaning of this from a profitability standpoint....but again...needs to talk to the company. I believe this is very important....as BANY may be able to move into the black just on this contract and a repeat of last years sales. 1,400 cases per month @ $50.00 per case = $ 70,000 per month sales x 30% margin = $21,000 per month gross profit. I don't know what overhead, SGA, etc. may be...Includes no Patriot...Europe...other.....

Anyhow.....I know this contract makes $ 3 million in sales much more realistic. And it is my understanding that $600,000 in sales is the break even point for BANY.

If BANY can show that it can turn even an 8% net profit on $ 3 million in sales ( 3.3 cents per share) and a 1,000% sales increase year to year.......What PE would you assign a stock like this? 50?.....60?

At a PE of 25.....the stock would be valued at 82.5 cents....more than triple the current sales price.

ps. Bart...I doubt Orgas knew anything about this. I don't think BANY knew about this when Orgas picked the stock. I think he knows more now, however.
