I was checking the news on OPEC and knew you kids would be declaring it "the end of the world" I never said we'd go straight up, just a nice slow uptrend. I do not see a retest of the lows for the majority of stocks. Some of the weaker issues might, and I emphasize "might." They probably won't. I don't see NE plunging back to 23 or RIG retesting for that matter. Some may be very disappointed when the dump their shares in the morning early only to find that they sold at an intraday low and the dreamed catastrophe was averted. Relax. Enjoy making some money for a change. Ask me how much money I've lost by sitting on my position and adding on dips since all this crap started back in Nov '97. -Lucretius

I think you are repeating what you wnted to hear a week ago. I NEVER said we would go straight up. No stock goes straight up. I went out of my way to say we would not go straight up. I said THIS IS IT. ie-- the sideways action and/or downtrend has ended and we're headed up from here. we will not retest lows. But do as you must. You people really amaze me, do you expect these stocks to jump up 1 and $2 a day!!!! Give me a break. NE pulled back 5/8, guess i better kill myself. Go drink a beer, and check your drillers in a few months. You'lll feel a lot better and make a lot more money. -Lucretius
