Phil...
The old estimate was based on 128 mil shares on a non-diluted basis.
I might have posted this before but here are my current estimate with adjustment for share dilution etc.

Revenue 1450 mil up from 1420 mil (Still quite conservative)
Margin 23 % down from 24.5% (better safe than sorry)
Cost 293 mil unchanged (I'm not counting on immediate savings from Newton.)
Interest 6.4 mil unchanged

Shares used for diluted EPS calculation = 140 mil. This was based on Apple's report for last Q we may need to add a few more mil shares for Q2. Haven't had time to dig through all the SEC filings yet.

That comes out to be 47 mil profit or $0.33 per share on a diluted basis. Again, this is by no means the best case scenario. It's intended to be a conservative estimate that I feel quite confidently that Apple would be able to meet.

Eric

What happened? Did your cultist enthusiasm run away with you?

Oh my, I wonder what will happen to the stock if...
