I remember a few months ago when the guys at Alex Brown downgraded LSI they said their meain reason for the downgrade was that LSI did not have an agreement with Sony anymore. At the time of th edowngrade LSi was in the $40's and in a matter of 2-3 days it went to the $29-$30 range! This news that just came out should certainly help the price, I would think! biz.yahoo.com

Thanks for that post! The Wizard, Shane, has been theorizing about LSI's DVD chip for some time..so it is good news indeed.. And now that the functions are clear, I'll be ordering that option to go with my new computer.. Very useful! Thanks again.. dlo
