Here's what I believe is a good, undervalued company: Cantrex (CXN on Montreal). It was a recent record of good earnings, pays a dividend, is expanding (read higher profits), has room to improve its profit margin (read even higher profits), trades at about half of book value, has an upward trending chart, and has just released another good report:

Anyway, I think it's undervalued. I don't think it will be a quick flip situation, but if you're looking for a dividend-paying stock that could offer substantial capital gains over the medium term, then check this one out. Here's a link to its SI discussion group:

This news was not exactly what I was expecting. Look for more
press releases over the next week or two.

As for the quarterely report, board meeting is on apr 8/98 and they are expected to release the figures sometime around then.
