To Stockman,
Sometimes what seems to be true may be false;
sometimes what seems to be false may be true.
Never look at any future event in an absolute manner, otherwise, it will only shows the limitation and stupidity of the individual.

Nothing is impossible.

AMD might overtake Intel in its market segment in the coming future, and it might go under.

Pick a side and be happy with your side.

You have the right to object to others' opinions; however, a man has no right to deny the dignity of the opinions of others. Otherwise, it only shows the emptiness of the mind of the individual.

Happy investing,
Happy objecting,
But please do not degrade the dignity of the opinions of the others.

"Is the third source that you are hinting at UMC? If this is true, but you really can't say, just say, "I really can't say."

I bet you anything it is Motorola. MOS13 in Austin is using the same 5 1/2 metal layer process in their Power PC as the K6. Since Power PC is fading away, MOS13 is under-utilized. Using MOS13 would strengthen AMD manufacturing capacity.
