I am quietly reading the reaction to the events of the day and I must agree with LT. The other factor not yet discussed is the pending earnings season. Shouldnt some good announcements move the solid companies further up?

Question from a longtime lurker: What do you expect opec's response will be to the thumbs down reaction the market has given their agreement? Will they cut production further, or just "wait the torture out" with the rest of us?? LT says check the drillers in a few months...I'd so like to believe, but, at this moment, I'm wishing I had listened to the doomsayers, rather than the optimists. Please, no snide remarks about a visitor posting on the strictly thread....the one made many posts back will suffice for condescension...
