Shalom, I appreciate your apology, and accept it. However, the url I gave you was a series of Bible quotes, with some analysis and interpretation as I recall. The entire url consisted of this kind of text. Way, way up in a corner was a small icon that I recall might have looked like the end of a condom or something, and it said fun sex tour, I believe.

It never would have occurred to me in a thousand years to tell you NOT to click on the condom and go on the sex tour. Not only would I have considered that insulting to you, to even dream that you might go there, but the page was full of Bible quotes, which is obviously what we were talking about. In any event, I just assume people will remember the subject we were talking about and not click off on a gay sex tour. I guess I overestimated you!!

I do not believe you answered my question on whether you still think Jesus was a white man. I am curious to know. At least when I assert something I do a web search to find sources to support my statements. I am not sure I think it is very open-minded for you to simply refuse to read them. On this issue, in particular, I have never even heard anyone argue that Jesus was white. I thought everyone knew he was brown. So I am quite surprised about your position.

I am finding that some Christians rely only on the Bible for their information on Jesus, and some others study theology, do historical research, and write or read books. The questions of whether Jesus was a historical or legendary or mythological figure, and really everything else about him is still very much in question. While I am not a Christian, many of the people who study these issues are, and it is certainly not intended as an insult on my part when I discuss the subject. As I have said before, Christianity has an impact on people's lives whether he existed or not, and a myth and/or a powerful legend can certainly cause powerful lessons to be taught if they are handed down from generation to generation, and affect modern life as well.

Here are some of the myriad books to which I was referring:

So you do know
or
Only true Christians know the secret handshake.

Shalom said
But only a true Christian would understand the total absurdity of that statement.

Shalom is a true Christian, he knows the handshake, apparently, how about Emile Vidrine and Chris land, do they know the secret handshake.
