[Takuri Line] Hi, Vitas.

It's very similar to a Hammer. But instead of the Handle (or Line) of the hammer being near 2.5x to 3x the size of the Candle 'Body'.

The Takuri line is 3x or more Greater than the Candle 'Body' size.

That's off the top of my head I don't have my book.

Ray

more on [candles] Takuri lines.

I've always just called all takuri lines hammers, since I'm a lazy sort, but the thing to remember is that the hammer is a special version of the takuri line.

Or in other words, from the general to the specific:

paper umbrella > takuri line > hammer/hanging man > dragonfly doji

all dragonfly doji are hammers, all hammers are takuri lines, all of the above are paper umbrella--their specific names depending on where they are on the chart, the size of the body, and the size of the shadow.
