Marshall:
Thank you for your insight. I do appreciate. My urologist is a close personal friend and I will discuss it at length with him. My post to the board was sort of two fold. To understand myself, and perhaps to be educational.
Prior to my MI I was a healthy young man with no problems. I would have never believed that the MI could send me for such a tailspin. My psychiatrist, another pal for many years got me through my difficulties and then he had a major stroke and I had to counsel him. Zoloft was like being in a sinking boat and not caring. Later as I got back into the work force teaching I got back some of my optimism. The impotency continues and I have some medication my urologist gave me that you insert but it has been there(my refrigerator) some 7 months and I could not bring myself to use it. With Pifzers pill, I will give it a try.
In addition, I will consider your thoughts on Zoloft. I have given some consideration to quitting it altogether but I won't do that without medical advice.
Once again, Marshall. Thank You.
