The truth is that you DON'T buy because of bulletin board opinions.
Only a fool would do that.

Well, Andon, I suppose you will just have to consider me a fool from your perspective.

From my perspective, this board for Apple is the best source of information available to me. The posters here are generally knowledgeable and honest. They are not here to listen to trite opinions not supported by fact or reasonable analysis (i.e., yours). They are here to share the best information (and conjecture) available to each of us so that all of us may profit. If you are only here to have 'fun' at the expense of the bulls, then you are wasting the time of all posters on this board--bulls and bears alike.

Go away, Andon. Your true colors are showing, and they are dark and drab.

I no longer believe you invest in anything except pitiful rhetoric and emotional dysfunction. I will not respond to any of your posts in the future.

Sam

$10 GRAND: 3/30/98

I just think it's fun when the giddiness
of the bulls like you get's so disconnected
from realty that you get fried.

Was that a sentence? For that matter, is Sam Scrutchins really a disconnected realtor?

The evidence will be forthcoming. Hold on!

Whatever you say Carnack...

A simple challenge Andon (assuming you've got the crystal balls): a virtual portfolio of $10,000 invested as of this morning 3/30/98, 5 to 10 companies - anywhere you like - provided it's supportive of your position.

My own comprises an initial $5,000 in Apple - as well as $1,000 each in 5 other companies that, for a number of reasons, have a stake in Apple's future.

Apple - (AAPL) 26 15/16.............$5,000
IBM - (IBM) 104 3/8........................$1,000
Motorola - (MOT) 57 1/2................$1,000
Oracle - (ORCL) 31 1/16...............$1,000
Adobe - (ADBE) 45 1/2.................$1,000
Global Village - (GVIL) 2 9/32.....$1,000

$10,000 value as of 9:00AM - 3/30/98

These are all longs - no trades allowed. I'm declaring victory to the first portfolio to double its value - or an instant defeat to either should their value slip below $5000.
