To all, It's early in the a.m. here, and I read with great interest the Fred Dawson article from BB Week. Thanks to Bernard for the link. Also in the same issue was some other very interesting articles. One of the stories link follows. It's a story on Time Warner's Road Runner Group. multichannel.com Also, read the story about Nortel's technology that offers high speed data over power lines. Apparently they own over 15 patents on this technology and say their throughput is at 500KBPS and plan to break the 1MBPS rate. It states that some US utility companies are also looking into this application. multichannel.com Lets see, how many homes have electricity in the U.S. vs. the number of homes with cable TV??
