Good point about "space" stuff because they seem to
have an edge on tougher-than-nails FGPA's. Do any
other FPGA suppliers even compete in this category?

Actel has yet to break into 'mainstream' design
like ALtera and Xilinx have. When this happens,
and it may take a few years, we will laugh
at how the low the stock price is right now!.

Actel is the World Leader in Radiation Hardened FPGA's

As the world's leading supplier of radiation tolerant and radiation hardened FPGAs, demand for these devices should increase with the imminent construction of the space station and from the increased number of satellites launched. Although this is probably a small part of their business now, it should become more important in the future.
