I remember when I first started writing in fragmented thoughts, fragmented phrases, and disarrayed rhetoric, an English teacher with the local high school told me this... ~Gary within everyone is a poet, most of which will never been published or even known. If you write for yourself then the only one that get the true value out of your writings is yourself. When you write so the world will understand your message then you go against the cultural astute and that is when you will get published and known.~ To Mrs. Knight, I owe a lot for those words of wisdom. Since that time I have written in an awarness of audience mode. Not to other poets but to the people who like to read. I'm not a poet and most poets will tell you that.
