Why do you support the myth that poverty fosters illegitimacy? Your view is not supported by any facts, historical or otherwise.

As society has grown richer, illegitimacy has soared and reached unprecedented levels. How does today's illegitimacy rate compare with that during the Great Depression?

Up until the Great Society programs of the 1960's black families were strong and illegitimacy was but a fraction of what it is today. Today more black children are born out of wedlock than in wedlock. White illegitimacy has soared as well, though a mere fraction of the black rate.

Remember, Senator Moynihan predicted the demise of the black family as a probable result of the Great Society programs and he has been proven astonishingly correct.

The liberals pretend to help the poor while destroying society: they made big government the surrogate father to so many as a result of their never ending quest to buy votes and enhance their own power. Moynihan confirms that fact.
