Biff,
It would not surprise me if Tava is hiring 500 engineers, but it would suprise me if they were permanent postions, because I believe Jenkins said he did not want to hire a bunch of people ( I forget the #) and then let them go in a couple of years.
He wanted to hire only as many permanent people that would be expected to stay on after y2k.
But lets get an official word one way or the other.
