I got lucky and went for the cash at today's peak and closed out half my position.

I think for the next 3 weeks you need pretty tough skin to stay in this one. I don't like to nay-say, but:

1) The end of the month is here and I haven't seen any of those v.90s on retail shelves -- unless tomorrow is a big shipping day....

2) Cash. They must be getting strapped. I realize they have some cash, however they appear to have it pledged against a LOC from their assembly subcontractor -- their last 10K claimed they only had 500K working available. And the revolving line surely has covenents that makes it unavailable. The good news is that if they plan to raise some cash, they can probably dip into this.

3) An low margin OEM deal with Apple (rumored) could severely cannibalize sales -- leaving only the upgrade market.

Looks to me like $1.50 might be sooner than $3.

I like this company and think they could really bust out if they get it together. They seem to lack energy, I don't get the sense they have the hustle and fighting spirit to be in the modem game. I'd like to see them leverage their software expertise by bundling a lite version of their software then collecting upgrade $$. I'd like to see the server stuff promoted a little better - how about an OEM server bundle? I'd like to see them out of the dog-eat-dog Windows business. I'd like to see them partner with a xDSL vendor to bring something to market. I'd like to see more vigor from their marketing department. I'd like to see my remaining shares hit $4.

Thoughts?
