Well things haven't really picked up here so I thought Peter's short story would entertain some. It is somewhat better than some of the trash here. Not that there aren't good writers here.

When I read Peter's story I couldn't decide if it reminded me of the Book of Revelation or some of Jane's posts.

I also can't decide if Peter limited the Grandpa's role to the end with an abrupt closing because he has no Grandfather(s) or he remembers watching The Princess Bride some years ago.

Well, in my opinion your child has writing talent and a great imagination!!

Perhaps we could try something different around here. For twenty four hours, we will assume that Skittles are the implied underlying cause of every social problem and religious clash, and anyone who does not believe that on faith will have to offer logical arguments challenging this view of reality. Does anyone know any Skittles poems? Maybe someone could write some!

And all the people who are male attorneys will be held to a higher burden of proof than that exhibited in the arguments which have been offered!! Ha ha!!! Female attorneys use irrefutable logic, and are already doing just great!!

Then the Feelings thread will become known all over SI as . . . those weird Skittles people, or something!!!!!
