Michael -- Thanks for the weather tips. I'll make sure to double-check before leaving home. My oldest daughter planned the trip as she lived in NY her first year out of college and wants to visit friends, see museums, and eat well. I plan to have a cappuccino at Dean and DeLucca's and spend a few hours in a used bookstore she introduced me to whose name I forget -- the only one I know that equals Powell's in Portland, Oregon. It's just a long week-end --- and probably all I need. As for the Amati gang, I suspect they're at the yawning stage with the chip development.. JC didn't sign a contract with TI, so is doing his own research, and RC and JS are now absorbed into the conglomerate. It'll be a long time before I yawn. I'll probably be waiting at the front door of CompUSA when the first retail modems arrive. :) Glad you enjoyed the virtual toast. Linds is home for a few days from UCLA, so I'm celebrating on that score, too. Cheers! Pat
