I'm excited but I'm willing to allow a little time for the freight train to leave the station, loaded as it is.

Much of the time you're expecting to lapse before the train leaves the station has already passed. Major OEMs have been beating on TI's doors for over 18 months, begging for these chips. Some of these companies have looked at other chip sources in the meantime. ALA, ADI, and Harris have been in the same race and at this point in time TI's taken the lead.

RFPs are being issued every day. Manufacturers will go where they can get chips. At least now we know TI has a chance.
