Imo the buyer has been in there for the last several trading days possibly longer. I don't very often use the word manipulate because in most cases its just an excuse. However, one of my sources on Wall Street told me last night he has reason to believe someone is deliberately holding the price down so it can be accumulated. Please keep in mind this was just his analysis. If we continue to see more days like yesterday where it was quite obvious there were more hits at the ask than at the bid with no upward movement in the price, then I will have to agree with him.
