This is a good company in the wan space, the only problem I keep hearing is all this hype about high speed router switches that are going to cause problems for ATM at the backbone level. Hype or not the fact is they are significantly faster than routers for one tenth the cost. This I believe has moved momentum investors out of ATM (nn,fore, xyln), now LARS never really had the fast growth that these guys had but that is why they had the shortest distance to fall from their highs. So does anybody else have any opinions on why LARS can't move past the IPO price of $12. Patiently holding hopefully for a buyout, I heard CABLETRON was looking for an acquisition in the WAN space, but that was before the new ceo DON REED resigned after his 7 month tenure. Would this acquisition make sense.

GOOD LUCK
