Slow down, what slow down?

STOCKHOLM -- Swedish telecommunications group LM Ericsson AB
(ERICY) should be able to sell for around SEK1 billion per working day in
1998, Ericsson's Chairman Lars Ramqvist said at the company's annual
general meeting Monday night.

That would mean a rise of around 43% to SEK240 billion from the
SEK168 billion in sales reached in 1997.

At the annual general meeting, Lars Ramqvist was formerly elected chairman
where he replaced Bjoern Svedberg. Sven-Christer Nilsson replaced
Ramqvist as chief executive.

Also, Johan Siberg was appointed the new executive vice president of
Ericsson. Siberg will retain his positions as head of Business Area Mobile
Phones and Terminals and president of Ericsson Mobile Communications
AB.
