Larry, Dan, any of the Z folks - - do you all have any particular strategies for avoiding disastrous overnight stock price drops from earnings warnings? I could list numerous examples, but RSYS is just one...off 7 points right now.

It seems that bad news is invariably announced after market hours when investors are helpless to do anything about the news. Obviously, simply not being in the market is one way to avoid getting burned. But I'm not sure that's a viable alternative. Day trading without holding an overnight position sounds increasingly attractive to me.

I'd appreciate any insights or strategies you may have for reducing one's vulnerability to such unfortunate announcements.
