Well, so much for the sudden strength on the buy side yesterday.
No follow up today. As usual, price moves up on small volume don't
hold.

Makes me nervous when expected news is delayed. My experience is
that good news is usally released pretty fast. Bad news is delayed
as long as possible.

The warning about CG is a good one. A break upward for CG could be
a false signal because they have other jvs. That's why I've said
a couple of times that the signal to watch for is a tandem move.
To each his own, but I'm not committing more money until I see
CG and MMU both appear on my screen, preferably with a gap upward.
The other scenario that I had hoped for which was implied in
red's comment was a steady creep upward to the thirty cent range
before there was any news. That would indicate that someone
was taking out the asks and accumulating. At the moment, it looks
like it is the bids that are being hit, not the asks. When insiders
acumulate in anticipation of good news being released, they hit
the asks because they know they've got to get the accumulation done
in a short time frame.

There are a lot of people hoping MMU hits kimberlite, not just the
stock owners. A positive result would give the whole Alberta play
a real boost. At the moment we seem to be replaying what was
called the Fipke curse in the NWT. Superstitious types spread the
word that only Fipke could find diamonds. Then ABZ found 4
good pipes. Right now we've got the Ashton curse. Someone will
break it. Let's hope its MMU.
