Jan, question for Tom. At times like these its easy to say the big caps are overvalued and it should be time for the small caps to play catch up. However, we've seen that small caps haven't really out performed the big caps except in a few really good years going back a very long time period. So, why even bother with small caps? It appears to me they may continue to underperform. We have money managers who view liquidity more important than earnings. Whats wrong with this reasoning? To hell with small caps.

Jan,

RMBS ... during earnings season there are numerous upgrades and downgrades that can stall the prevailing trend of a stock. But the effect is usually transitory without forthcoming fundamentals. Let's see if RMBS will manage to close above its 50-day ema. While it is prudent to wait for technical/fundamental clarity, I'll sometimes trade the momentum and sentiment. It never ceases to amaze me the way brokerage houses prop/propel a stock up at key junctures, and that they did with RMBS. As an example, note the announcements that came out to propel AMD thru its 200-day ema from below the other day.

CSCO ... Oh, I'll flip a stock a couple of times while waiting for proper entry. CSCO is an old, old friend.

Now while OJ's been fiddling around watching IMRS, you may want to watch for entry on SYNT.

Jan, exited QCOM today at 56ish, now don't tell me it went bullish! Can you give me a P&F update or point me to the post you did for someone else?

SUN and VIAS, two more swandives today. Were there early indications on P&F? Will read Tom's book this weekend over a glass or two of wine. Hope the X's and O's make sense when mixed with alcohol. Take care.
