I am not sure INTC is as interested in insuring that "the right memory" is available as it is interested in "the right memory" being available as cheap as possible.

That is what reduces the PC's cost and therefore sells more CPU's. Therefore continuing to keep SEA in the business and continuing a dogfight with MU keeps the DRAM at lowest possible price.

I can not see any advantage of INTEL going to Micron since MU is trying to increase DRAM prices to increase their EPS.

Intel is far from being a saint with their involvement with SAMSUNG. It is cutthroat business as usual<g>
