Justa,

I just chose to ignore his remarks because calling daBrink a "liar" was crossing the line and he lost credibility with me. It was clear to me he had something to grind besides what was posted so it is impossible to deal with Rillinois in a rational way.

To all who listen to the show, it is clear that Bob Brinker is an honest man and has the best of intentions to give good advise. That he seemed to be taking "just a bit" more credit than deserved for the Asian Meltdown on a few words of the show - well, I just wrote that down as human nature and was greatly pleased that he recanted and clearly stated the facts after all the discussion here.

I really think it speaks well of the man that he can take constructive comments and use them to improve an already great show. He does not need someone with an axe to grind bashing him all the time for an exaggeration taken way out of context. For me to argue with someone with an agenda not clearly stated just gives these fools credibility.

I do appreciate your detective work to expose "da truth".

regards
Kirk out

If Rillinois is just 27 and a girl as you say, then given that the kid can at least argue her points on financial matters cogently, perhaps it wouldn't be a good idea for us old boys to scare her off.

As for Brinker being a liar, I think he is a good man with the best interests of his audience at heart. He supports Childrens Hospitals. He's a little terse with some callers, but he realizes that money isn't everything. Good enough for me. --AG
