LoD,

I have a problem in that I configure my system in different ways depending on the 'platform' that I am working on. As such, I have no 'internal' drives. All Hard Disks are mounted in 'pluggable' cartridges which I change out with any platform I want. The only drive that is permanent is the CD (soon to be a R/W, I think), and the 3.5 floppy for initial loading or whatever.

Currently, I have 'maxed' out my system as far as drive slots go. If I add the SCSI controller (PCI) and Network card (PCI), I will have only 1 PCI slot left. (Video card in PCI, Modem in ISA, Sound card in ISA, and PC Dish in ISA).

I will take another look at the 'workstation' configuration to see if that will work for me!

Thanks for the posting!

Regards,

Ken
