I agree, let the profit takers make a little money and try do get back in at higher levels!!! Chrysler was just about bankrupt!! The basics are the same, Iaacoco is a GENIUS, he will not put his name and reputation on the line just to be a figure head. IF HE CAN CREATE A "VIPER" AND MAKE INVESTORS BIG MONEY WHAT DO YOU THINK/ACCOMPLISH NOW!!! I also did not see LEE scheduled for SQUACK BOX!!!! Could be ploy to bring stock lower to get back in!!!BEST REGARDS

Iacocca is no stranger to television, nor to self-promotion. Whether he was scheduled to be on SquawkBox, or that was merely a rumor, is beside the point.

If he was willing to attach his face to this product and say 'I am now running things and this is our battle plan...' CNBC obviously would have him on.

He is not at this time ready to do that. I guess that was my point.

'Iacocca said he's only a temporary chairman of Koo Koo Roo.'

From the Detroit Free Press, Tuesday edition...

>> "I've got enough on my plate," he quipped. "I'll hang around as
long as it takes to give them a hand."

He said he hopes the chain's turnaround efforts succeed --
partly because he eats there several times a week.

"Being on the board, I felt if they did the things that were
necessary, it wouldn't take too long to turn things around. And
I didn't want to walk out on them," he said. "The board asked
me to serve as acting chairman during 'a period of adjustment,'
and I hope that's going to be a matter of months."<<

The game is up. Iacocca is officially a figurehead.
