I don't follow that. Myself I'm going to pay 19.95 for selling $9.37 worth of stock, somehow I don't see any future in that. At least this other fellow seems to have sold all and I assume he set the price so he should be happy.

to give you a potential answer on the 100 shares.

you are a market maker. you get buyers and sellers
buyers of 19 500 buyers of 21,900 etc
you get sellers of 11,000 ,, 8600 ,, 20,000 etc.

you now hold a short position of 100 shares and want to close out flat. call another market maker and say i need 100, that way you are flat on the day.

some traders like to be flat at the end of a day. my compliance liked me to , but i hardly ever did. when i was trading
