Eric,Rob: I liked Farashs' interview with Brian much better.

I don't watch hardly any TV anymore. Confirmed NETHEAD here. I don't even subscribe to cable. I will, however, subscribe to cable when they give me VOD, IP Telephone, and blazing fast internet speed. I can get rid of Bell South, Blockbuster Video, and my ISP. These things have value to me.

Not a whole lot new here, except that this article reinforces the fact manufacturers are increasing seeking independence from Intel in general and not just rejecting Celeron. I'm not so sure that Intel will even be as successful in pushing Merced down the channel, as they have with their previous chips. Proprietary architectures have a notorious reputation for failing in the market place.

It's May, It's May, The Merry Month of May. Hooray! Maybe then IDT gets as much ink as AMD and Cyrix.

BTW Rob I'm interested in this Blue Logic business, could you post some recent links on the subject. I'm going over to IBM's site soon to see if I can dig anything up on it. System on a chip looks big. Thanks
