Don't forget that as of today, whoops... yesterday, New York state
entered fiscal 1999.


THIS IS THE FIRST LITMUS TEST!!!

OK, it's a minor one, but it is a potential real-world situation. For a
while now some people have been talking about situations where the
number 99 is used as a "check" number in the year field.

Now we finally have the opportunity to show people a real world case. Of
course that's if the effects are visible.

Personally I've never seen any cases of this, but some people don't
believe me when I tell them what I've seen, so my mind is wide open on
this.

Have there been any honest to goodness blips? Keep your eyes open.
