watch WDC,

building a head of steam for another assault on the big 2-0.

20 is resistance to crack. Once it does, a new uptrend is established and verified.

What happened was, I was leaving for the PATH at about noon that day. Another trader talked me into having a beer so I stopped for one...then went on to the Trade Center.

So being an Alcoholic Ass saved my life, true story.

Anyway, I was obviously turned back and waited back at the trading room. Called a few guys up, they were still trading like madmen even though they were in #7 across the street. Traders are nuts. Told to evacuate, they kept going. I remember I tried to get a ride from an guy on the options desk at Salomon in #7 but his car was parked in a lot that had been turned into a heli-port for Med-Evac.

So I walked to the ferry. Wasn't a trader in town that was not crowding the bars around the Center...you would think it was Thursday/Friday night.

The West Side Drive was a myriad of multicolored lights....I don't know how they ever got anyone to a hospital. Wall to wall Emergency Vehicles.

I got to the Ferry, wasn't a soul on it. No one was interested in going home. I had to listen to the older guys for weeks about how their kids had to wait in line for hours for the Ferry.....no way of getting home.

But I'm not a gossip so I never told them the bars had more people than the Ferry.

Gruesome stuff, but as it turned out having a glass of beer probably saved my life.
