well belive it or not ( My Gut Feeling only ! ) I feel we Ariel investors should watch this one closely. I have just always felt that there was a relationship with GTE and Ariel....

GTE and AOL In DSL Deal? Check It Out

Copyright c 1998 TeleChoice, Inc.

April 1, 1998 -- The San Jose Mercury News is running a column that leaks a
potential AOL/GTE deal that the paper claims will be announced shortly. Adam
Lashinsky writes that AOL and GTE will launch DSL service in five cities for as
little as $50 per month. The service would be available in San Francisco, Phoenix,
Boston, Washington, D.C., and Birmingham, Ala., says Lashinsky, quoting an
unnamed financial analyst source.

TeleChoice believes that this is out of the GTE Internetworking group, formerly
BBN. TeleChoice also believes that GTE ILEC is on the verge of its long-awaited
announcement. We expect an announcement of the ILEC DSL plans within the next
two weeks, and that the vendor selection will send some waves through Wall Street.
More on this later.
