Helios, the point is its not just processor time but memory path thats being used. You have a DVD software progarm hoging up memory and stuff, so Mpegleg is just pointing that out.

I still don't understand everyones MUST HAVE IN SOFTWARE deal with DVD, hell why do people even need sound cards these days? If sound needs an extra processor, why would anyone think sound and video wouldn't???

Mleg, explain that fettish to me...??
