This is a very interesting thread !
As far as stop loss orders go,it's better not to use them on the VSE,
the traders can and will wipe you out in a hurry.Better use a"mental"
stop on that exchange.

For VSE and TSE stocks, it is not a worry since "marketmakers" per se don't exist and believe me, getting whipped out is a blessing most of the time. You can always buy it again for the price of commish. Better that than holding the bag when the music stops. Yes, we do mental stops too, but you must have the self discipline to EXECUTE them instead of resetting them when they get hit.
