Barry, will take time later to digest more of the 10KSB. While revenues ($24 mm) were up slightly for FY1997 compared to previous year ($22 mm), profits were obviously down and negative. Part of the profit "hit" were start-up costs associated with opening of Beijing United (BU) which, due to its just recent opening, did not contribute revenue or earnings in 1997. While prospects of existing and new product lines are obviously promising, its largely cash-poor, slow pay customers appear to be a continuing problem (particularly so with equipment purchases). So, it appears that the company may have to rely on "pay in advance" consumables and operating revenues from BU (possibly a real "sleeper") next year. Speaking technically, I liked the way that shares today bounced strongly off their intraday low, and the moderate volume on the sell-off did not suggest desperate sellers. Bill.
