I have no position short or long in this stock.

From Briefing.Com:

RAMBUS INC (RMBS) 44 5/16 +5. Rambus, I am disappointed with you. Come on buddy, that was "The" Mark Edelstone pounding-the-table in your name. Maybe not quite pounding-the-table, but back in the days when you were a superstar, you would have turned an upgrade from "neutral" to "outperform" into a 8-point gain.. Come on, in November you jumped more than 15 points intraday after Hambrecht & Quist upped its price target. Yes, I understand that you have lost much of your star quality and don't command the same type of pay days that were thrown your way when you came onto the scene back in May, at the tender price of $12. But the people still love you, otherwise, they would not still be willing to pay 33 times trailing sales and 96 times forward earnings estimates to come see you. Don't fret, for Mr. Edelstone is doing his best to keep the seats full. Who doesn't want to come see a star that is expected to soar 35% to 58% over the next 12-18 months and is projected to reach $150 within just a few years. Yea, I know that some will think that these forecasts are just the typical Rambus hype, but this Edelstone -- those familiar with his work know that the Morgan Stanley analyst is far from being a hype-meister. Plus, who can be against a company that has seen the sales of its licensees soar through the $1 billion mark. You just wait, when your partners begin to drive your Direct Rambus DRAMs into the PC main memory market in the 1st-half of next year, as Mr. Edelstone predicts, no one will be laughing then. That expected five dollars per share in earnings is just around the corner, so just hold the course until the prophecy is fulfilled. If you have only doubled by then, you will sit at only 18 times earnings and they will be beating down the doors to see you.
