I just received a message from Jeff B. He stated confidently
that all this 'info' about misdoings concerning Mr.
Swarzman are untrue. He added that the company is doing well.
I for one, with my own concerns, will not settle on information
from any one particular source. That is why I called Jeff B.
I will remain optimistic with HNLY and will continue to keep
my eyes and ears open. Jeff B. was very punctual with his
return call answering my concern on what is being published
on SI.

Jim, about Magra...

I think Magra has been invited in to the lions den. Magra has real products and customers. They have a problem with profitability. I understand this all too well. As a former owner of a small private company we tried our damndest to minimize net income to legally avoid income taxes. I think when a private company goes public the same mindset applies. Minimize net income and avoid taxes. Let me tell you from what I know about taxes, federal, futa, workers comp, ss, medicare, ad infinitum (not even including workers compensation insurance policies and general liability) when it comes to the bottom line most private companies are sick to death of taxes and government mandated expenses, regulations that cost and cost and cost. Yechhh! Thank God that's over.
