I also notice that they don't criticize AOL or IOM.

I think the Fools comments on Apple should stand or fall on their own. Trying to discredit them because they are less than neutral on the companies they have openly declared to have an interest might be soothing to some Apple bulls here, but changes little otherwise.

That is false. Have a look at their portfolio. None of their holdings predates AOL or IOM. Three months into 1998 they have made already five buy trades.
