I honestly can not see any upside potential for this stock in the near future. Stock gained a lot on expectations since last year and those expectations were overoptimistic for intel. Intel might gain some ground if there would be bad news on amd expected yields for the next few quarters but it should not be that much either way. If AMD yields are for real then intel would be facing not only margin pressure but it would also likely to loose considerable portion of market share. I would guess that recent announcement of 2B investment into Asian markets is an indication that Intel is concerned with competition and demand for their chips. Celeron in set-top boxes maybe another indication that intel is not likely to win low-end before they add cache to a chip.
The downside for intel is that amd would manage to build enough k6s and k6-3d+. Not only that it might be a blow to intels revenue but it would also challenge "intel inside" dominance.
