I understand that it was supposed to be a partnership in field service/dispatch and the vntv product was not as well developed as hoped. In addition, I think some psft folks were not pleased with the degree that vntv was trumpeting the psft relationship. This led to a rocky start to the relationship. This is older data and perhaps things have changed. I think that the bar is getting higher in CIS and that it would be very difficult for a big back office vendor to develop a cis solution from scratch. TD
