Steve "THEY DID NOT" Salgo I don't know Steve, you'll just have to figure this one out by yourself. I like the way you figured out that the $10+ million in revenue came from interest on the $70 million. Where do you bank to get rates like that?

Honestly, shorts have such a one-sided view of the world. Let's think about why Zonagen would be repurchasing shares. Perhaps its because they believe it is a good investment? Spending $6 million (my estimate) over some three months wouldn't go far to creating a short squeeze, in my opinion. Why would they be investing this money? I don't know if the product works or not. However, if ZONA were attempting to defraud investors as some believe, what would a one-time repurchase of stock be used for? If the idea really was for management to sell shares at inflated prices and then leave town, it would appear that having as much cash on hand to fund R&D in hopes of 'striking it rich' would be more useful than repurchasing shares. Steve, on a different note, I believe that manipulating one's stock price through a short squeeze is against SEC rules. Likewise, false accusation of manipulation is probably illegal (slander, defamation of character?) as well. Since all of these "conversations" are written down for posterity by SI, it may be a good idea for everyone to separate fact from opinion. That is only my opinion. Diamondcutter
