klic actually lost money during the 96 downturn...anybody have thoughts on whether we can expect that again? Is klic somehow more vulnerable in a down period than the others?

Flip Chip: Should become profitable 1Q 99, ramping slower than expected, not a cost effective alternative yet, you need chips with very high pin counts for flip-chip be a viable alternative. After 2000 wire bonding should begin to phase out with flip chip taking over a greater percentage of sales. PRIA/Back-end automation: White Oak will use the system in its new fab. Anam/Amkor is building a B/E pilot line in the Far-East. KLIC may be providing some financing on this deal. Delivery should begin this summer. Check out the PRIA web page for more details.
