Al, They sat on the ask all mornig, then switched. TSCO tends to work only retail orders, so they come and go. WDCO is really a non player and seems to get in the way more often than not. The key is FAHN. The other MM's are following their lead, at least for today, lets see who the chosen one will be in the morning. Hill, PGON, SHRP, WEIN like to trade together as you have noticed in the past. SHRP has a small retail sales force, so they are not really buying or selling for their brokers. The rest are all wholesale MM's, and trade for other houses and themselves. If you start to see the ask drop aggressively, you know they are trying to knock it down. If they are fighting over getting the best bid in, its going higher. At these levels, if volume stays good tommorow, it will handle the sells that are sure to come into the market, its natural after this run.
