OK guys and gals - what are we missing here? Is it last minute window dressing to get rid of nonperforming stocks? or is there something more fundamental going on here?

Rick

My feeling about the weakness in IDX's share price is explained in Keith's post.

Frustration level getting high. Saw 17000 share block dumped at the end. Talked to a broker in New York, they seem to like Identix but don't think they'll make any money. Seems to be the story from most managers. Going to be a long 3 weeks till earnings.
Keith

Through my enthusiasm for the company IDX I have encouraged many of my friends to invest in IDX. They are to a person frustrated and even angry. Despite all the good news from this thread that I am able to tell them, they are because of lack of hard news and no increase in share price, non-believers. The monster contract and earnings break-out have continually been delayed. The momentum for the stock is now negative and with the broader market advancing at a great pace and competitors announcing daily, people are inclined to sell and refrain from buying. As Keith stated even the brokers and money managers are pessimistic (but not necessarily informed). Expect this to happen until IDX does something that the general market views as a breakout. My friends who hate the stock now will love it as it goes up and will buy at much higher levels as will the rest of the " smart" money. There is probably as much investor psychology as anything in determing what a growth stock is worth. I don't think the stock is being drastically manipulated at this point or do I think the people on this thread are missing anything. If you still feel that IDX is a superior biometric company whose time is coming (ie. the story is still intact), then buy more or sit tight. In addition, continue to read this thread as it has the best information on the industry. If you read this thread you know more than Wall Street. Thanks to all the regular contributers.
