Does this mean that the stock will be up another couple of points tomorrow?

Some types block trades of a large size, which are negotiated over the 4th market, are reported at the end of the day. This is the reason for the additional five million shares showing up after the close.

Re: Today's volume. Recently Intel traded over 100 million shares in one day. The following day a market maker in the stock was asked about all the volume. He said "A lot of those trades were transactions between dealers. The real volume was probably closer to 33 million."

I don't know how to interpret that, but I'm sure the volume figures on NASDAQ are inflated. More than once I've owned a stock that supposedly traded more than the entire float in 2 or 3 days.

Bye and Go Nextel!
