Patrick,
Pray tell what did cause the rise?
It wasn't the "monster buyer," it wasn't the KO pilot.
Is it embedded system pandemonium?
We are interested in your opinion.
Thanks,
Brice
PS Can we really use ethical in the same sentence w/ market maker and is T. Flick a market maker?

one of your points:

Moving to a Y2K company or even getting involed in a Y2K project is regarded as a dead end by many skilled consultants so I think they will struggle to hire even if they want to.

TAVA's Kevin Fallon in Conference Call:
...
"But today, unlike on the business side, on the control side of the business, we have not seen any problem in hiring technical staff. And because TAVA is unique in this industry, we do not see the great competitiveness that we're seeing in the business side. So actually, we have people coming to us since Y2K has launched in our company."

Patrick:

I wouldn't have the courage to be short this baby.

<<What will make this stock go higher quickly IMO will be if they show some decent numbers - Y2K revenues above $20m - in this quarter. I'd go long myself if they did that.>>

But I do agree that this is the crux of the matter. With the release of the next financials, the move will be big %wise depending on this issue IMO.

Dear Patrick: Yes, of course the earnings must lead the way--but to us TAVAites the earnings are a given. You will see a profitable 3/31 quarter and and even more profitable 6/30 quarter. JDN

I think your going to run out of weak hands very soon. I know we took quite afew on during the run. My suggestion Patrick, do what I'm doing. Buy this dip. You won't be sorry.
