amd may not be offering 25% of new issues but that does not mean that company can not buy shares on the open market.

Stockman, No company (especially IBM) would be stupid enough to buy AMD when they can screw them for free. Looks like AMD is on its own again for now...This should bring the stock down a few points <ggg>.
I sold short today at $29+...This should get me some more pizza money.
